During the ordering process we use a secure SSL connection. WHY DO WE KEEP YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

Sometimes we need certain information from you. This could be personal data, for example if you buy a product in one of our stores or online via our webshop. This way we can process the purchase in our administration and inform you about the progress.

Also when you browse our website on different devices such as a smartphone, computer or tablet, we can offer personalized ads and content tailored to your interests and purchase history.

DISCLOSURE TO THIRD PARTIES

We will only pass on your personal data to other parties in order to provide a good service. These are delivery services (Dachser logistics, DPD, DHL) or payment services (IDEAL, PayPal, Mastercard, Visa, Bank Transfer, Bancontact/Mister Cash, eMaestro, Giropay), suppliers, analysis services (Google Analytics), marketing services such as Google Adwords, Tradetracker, and IT service providers (website management: Younify, Hipex hosting, CRM: Exact and CMS: Magento and Picqer) and parties such as Ekomi who collect our reviews. Your data will be passed on to another party if we are legally obliged to do so, because we have to execute an agreement with you.

We only engage other parties if this suits the purpose for which we have processed your data. We assess in advance whether these parties are sufficiently reliable. They only have access to your data to provide you with a service on our behalf, unless they themselves are responsible for obtaining/protecting your data. We never sell your data to third parties.

GOVERNMENT

We share personal data with government agencies or other authorized bodies where permitted or required by law.

RIGHTS

You always have the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of your data, after which we will no longer process your data. The withdrawal of this consent does not affect the lawfulness of our data processing based on your previous consent.

You have the right to access and rectify your personal data. If you want to know which of your data we are processing, please inform us in writing at info@maxifleur.com. If your data is incorrect, incomplete or irrelevant, you can also contact us in writing.

You also have the right to have your personal data deleted, the right to restriction of processing and the right to object to processing. Also for this you can submit a written request.

We ask for your understanding that the processing of your request within our systems takes some time (up to four weeks) and you may therefore receive emails from us in the meantime.

DATA STORAGE

We store your data in various databases. We have implemented the necessary security measures to prevent the loss, misuse or alteration of information that we receive on our site. When we transfer or receive your data on our website, we always use encryption technologies recognized within the IT sector.

NEWSLETTER

We may, if you consent, send our newsletter by email. For sending newsletters we use e-mail management and sending service Sendtrix. For more information we would like to refer you to the privacy policy of Sendtrix. The stored data can be viewed by our commercial department as well as by internal ICT administrators. The duration of the storage of these data is for us indefinitely, in principle as long as you are interested in participating. Would you rather not receive our newsletter? Unsubscribing is very simple via a link at the bottom of the e-mail, your login account or via our customer service.

MINORIES

If you are 16 years old or younger, you may only use our website under the supervision of your parents or legal representatives.

DATA RETENTION PERIOD

Your data will be kept as long as necessary to process your orders (including the warranty period) and provide you with the best service. If the data is no longer needed it will be anonymized or deleted. We are legally obliged to keep our records for 7 years. After that we only use anonymous data for internal reporting. We also delete inactive accounts after 7 years.

DATABASE

It is important to us that your data is secure. If it should happen that data is lost or accessible where it should not be, please inform us as soon as possible via info@maxifleur.com so that we can contact those involved and inform the supervisor. We adhere to the mandatory data breach notification, have you discovered a (possible) data breach? Report it to us as soon as possible, in any case within 24 hours of discovery. More information.

PROCESSOR AGREEMENT

We work together with a select number of external companies for the technical support and hosting of our websites and ICT environment. These companies sometimes have access to personal data for which we are the responsible party. Therefore we have concluded data processing agreements with them. These agreements include the prohibition on providing data to third parties.
